Kondapur is a suburb of western Hyderabad in Serilingampally mandal, Rangareddy district, administered as Ward 234 of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, with PIN 500084. It sits in the Serilingampally assembly constituency and the Chevella parliamentary constituency, and it falls inside the Cyberabad IT zone.
The name is not unique, and that matters when you are reading a document. Telangana has a Kondapur in Ghatkesar mandal on the other side of the city, a Kondapur mandal in the former Medak district, and a Kondapur in Nalgonda. A sale agreement, a RERA registration and a search result can each refer to a different one. Read the mandal and the district on the document, not the locality name.
Kondapur is not a launch belt in the way Kokapet is. It was built out through the 2000s and 2010s, so the new towers here are infill on parcels that came free rather than a fresh layout. That changes what a buyer is comparing: the amenity programme is smaller, the surrounding roads and schools already exist, and the frontage a tower gets is whatever the old plot boundary allows. Buyers usually shortlist it against Financial District and Kokapet on commute rather than on scheme size.
