Kondapur is a suburb of western Hyderabad in Serilingampally mandal, Rangareddy district, administered as Ward 234 of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, with PIN 500084. It sits in the Serilingampally assembly constituency and the Chevella parliamentary constituency, and it falls inside the Cyberabad IT zone.
The name is not unique, and that matters when you are reading a document. Telangana has a Kondapur in Ghatkesar mandal on the other side of the city, a Kondapur mandal in the former Medak district, and a Kondapur in Nalgonda. Kondapur is not a launch belt in the way Kokapet is. It was built out through the 2000s and 2010s, so the new towers here are infill on parcels that came free rather than a fresh layout. Getting in and out
Kondapur takes its access from Kondapur Main Road onto the Gachibowli–Miyapur road, and from the Kothaguda junction toward HITEC City and Madhapur. It is one of the few western localities where the suburban rail is genuinely close: HITEC City, Hafeezpet and Chandanagar stations all sit within a few kilometres.
