Rajendranagar is a mandal in Rangareddy district on the south-western edge of Hyderabad. It is best known for its institutions rather than its housing: the agricultural university campus, the research stations and the Kothwalguda eco park sit inside it. Budwel, Kismatpur, Sikanderguda and Shivarampalli are among the residential areas within the mandal.
The Telangana government has planned an IT cluster in Rajendra Nagar running roughly 350 acres from Budwel to Kismatpur. That plan is why land here is being priced as a future office catchment rather than as the southern fringe, and it is the single most important thing to check the current status of before you buy on the strength of it.
The name covers a lot of ground. A project marketed as Rajendra Nagar may sit at Gaganpahad near the ORR, at Budwel toward Kismatpur, or nearer Attapur and the city. Those are different commutes and different approval histories. Read the village and survey number on the registration, not the marketing address. Budwel has its own page here: see Budwel.
